11. Reels: The Old Kerry Road / The Flaggy Hole
I composed these two tunes myself. The first one is called after an old
road close to my house in Newmarket which is one of my favourite walks.
The second one is called after a deep hole in the River Dallua about a mile below Anne's Bridge outside Newmarket, and it appears to be flagged in the bottom.

Brilliant tunes, played brilliantly. Great recording too - well worth listening with headphones to take advantage of the stereo fun.

Bright and skipping songs that foreground the sound of the banjo and fingerstyle guitar in music that feels timeless. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2020
